Background: The University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Science hired me to create a full-page ad (for their alumni magazine) to promote a Science Lunch function that they were putting on for alumni in the fall. The event involved lunch and a hands-on science presentation from Let’s Talk Science, a group of University Faculty of Science students who volunteer and teach younger kids all about science in fun, interactive ways. Cool.

This is one of the concepts that we came up with, and even though we went in a different direction for the final ad, I wanted to post this SOMEWHERE because I love the idea. The design problem to solve was: how do I combine Science + Lunch? The answer: a science twist on table setting etiquette.
