My August project-in-progress is my involvement with ArtsScene’s Summer Patio + Behind-the-Scenes. at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald on August 19th. Snazzy. Loving all the summer art parties that Edmonton is pouring out! I will be involved as a Featured Artist for the night: like at the AGA Refinery, my set-up will be both visual art and interactive art. I will be highlighting a new project I’m working on, tied in with my “On rants, bitterness and disillusion” series, entitled A Designed and Historic Perspective: Angles of Love.

Angles of Love will feature a set of 6 illustrated prints that I am creating focusing on the architecture, design and history of love. There will also be an interactive portion to my series for the ArtsScene night, which I’m really excited about, that allows guests to delve into their personal angle of love, and (literally) where they are sitting  when it comes to “love”. Each guest will have an opportunity to take a little piece of art home with them too. It’s going to be an enlightening night!
