Background/About the Client: The Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market has been a fixture in Edmonton’s historic Old Strathcona area since 1983 and delivers “Fresh from the farm to your family” with a strong mantra of “We make it, we bake it, we grow it, we sell it”.
The Design Problem/Opportunity: After re-designing the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market logo, we started the process of re-designing their other materials, piece by piece, to be in line with their new visual branding. This included re-designing the brochures that get handed out at the Information Booth (the interior of the brochure being the market map).
The Solution: All photos are of local OSFM vendors’ products, and printed on a grainy card stock that has an earthy look and texture. We created four brochures as a visual reference to the year-round nature of the market, using seasonal images and colours (taken from the new OSFM colour palette).
